Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management
The NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management qualification is suited to those who are working in a management role in the construction industry and are looking to become eligible for the Black CSCS Card.
Candidates follow one of five pathways depending on their job role: Building and Civil Engineering, Highways and Maintenance repair, Residential Development, Conservation or Demolition.

This qualification consists of 19 units and is quite in depth. A reasonable amount of time to complete this qualification would be 6 to 12 months.

NVQ Level 6 qualifications enable you to claim the Black CSCS Card.
Progression from level 6 qualifications could lead into Senior Construction Management positions that will enable you to then apply for your level 7 Construction Senior Management qualification.
Questions and answers account for around 50% of the qualification criteria. You will be provided with access to an online e-portfolio of questions where you can write your answers to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding and send them to your assessor for support, marking and feedback.
You can access this e-portfolio to work on the questions and answers anytime, from anywhere and your assessor can quickly access the information which helps to speed up the qualification process.
Observed criteria account for around 50% of the qualification criteria. Your assessor will come to site to carry out the observation where possible, however, due to the current Coronavirus restrictions, observations are increasingly carried out over video call or by providing work product evidence or video recordings.
Once the necessary criteria are fulfilled the qualification is achieved, there is no final exam.
