Level 3 Supervisory Qualifications
We offer two different NVQ Level 3 Supervisory qualifications that are designed for those who are working as ganger, working foreman, lead installed or junior office staff.
This qualification includes pathways for Estimating, Buying, Planning, Surveying, Site Technical Support, Design Coordinator and General Supervisor.
Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of health and safety, preparing and following work schedules, operating project information systems and developing working relationships along with the optional unit selection.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of health and safety, confirming the method of work, monitoring the progress of work schedules, coordinating work operations and developing working relationships along with the optional unit selection.
Candidates must provide evidence that they are qualified to at least Level 2 in their occupational area prior to being registered for the Occupational Work Supervision qualification.
Both qualifications provide access to the Gold CSCS Card.

Complete the qualification within a few short weeks providing that you work with your assessor to provide the required evidence. Qualification times can be as little as 4 to 8 weeks!

Questions and answers account for around 50% of the qualification criteria. You will be provided with access to an online e-portfolio of questions where you can write your answers to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding and send them to your assessor for support, marking and feedback.
You can access this e-portfolio to work on the questions and answers anytime, from anywhere and your assessor can quickly access the information which helps to speed up the qualification process.
Observed criteria account for around 50% of the qualification criteria. Your assessor will come to site to carry out the observation where possible, however, due to the current Coronavirus restrictions, observations are increasingly carried out over video call or by providing work product evidence or video recordings.
Once the necessary criteria are fulfilled the qualification is achieved, there is no final exam.

You may be able to claim up to £600 through the CITB grants and funding scheme, however, you will need to submit your own claim upon completion of the qualification.

NVQ Level 3 qualifications enable you to claim your Gold CSCS Card.
Progression from level 3 qualifications could include the role of Non Working Supervisor or Site Foreman/ Supervisor and these roles lead to Level 4 Supervision or Level 6 Management qualifications.
